SIGA was the first organization to reveal the platform’s performance, reporting a profit of $14.8 million in November, the initial month, followed by $17 million in December.

In the first two months alone, there were 8,015 new registrations , indicating that each player typically wagered an average of $3,967 . After accounting for winnings that were reinvested and promotional amounts, the actual figure is considerably lower; however, it still contributes significantly to the overall revenue.

Michael Bellegarde , who is the Director of iGaming at SIGA, expressed: “We’re very satisfied. Given that this is a new product in the province, we were uncertain about its potential. So we’re delighted with the results.”

The platform's casino segment generated the most revenue with $30.6 million , while the sports betting section only brought in $1.2 million.

“What caught me off guard is how slot machines have a much stronger impact on revenue compared to sports betting,” remarked Michael Bellegarde.

He also highlighted that millions are spent on sports advertising annually, suggesting there is potential for substantial revenue in that area; however, Saskatchewan’s results appear to contradict this expectation.

Similar to its success in its home province of British Columbia and later in Manitoba , Playnow.com seems poised for similar popularity in Saskatchewan .
