GiG or Gaming Innovation Group Recently, they entered into a partnership with an Ontario-based brick-and-mortar casino to facilitate its online transition.
While the specifics of this agreement remain undisclosed, the identity of the terrestrial operator has not been revealed. This isn't the first instance of GiG converting a Canadian operator to the online space using their state-of-the-art Omnichannel platform.
GiG is preparing to take an Ontario land-based casino online.
To date, GiG has successfully launched two operators based in Ontario, one being King Media Ltd , renowned for their popular brand, ‘King Billy’ .
The recent agreement with this unidentified operator is expected to be operational in the first few months of 2023.

Ontario iGaming in Trouble!

Nevertheless, challenges remain in the province! The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake has lodged a constitutional challenge against iGaming Ontario and the local attorney-general in the Ontario Superior Court.
The council contends that the regulations governing iGaming contradict constitutional principles. They assert that gambling and betting can only be lawful in Canada if it is offered and regulated by a provincial government . This is no longer applicable in Ontario!
